What is Brandstorm?
The goal is to upskill students and boost their career. Projects must be innovative, sustainable, tech-driven, inclusive, feasible and scalable. Brandstorm is open to all students and professionals under 30 from around the world and gives them the opportunity to gain new skills with an e-learning dedicated platform powered by Salesforce, a certification and share their ideas with L’Oréal Groupe experts.
Each country of the L’Oréal Groupe organizes its own competition and the winning team of this national selection access to the international competition.
As well as stimulating students on a personal and professional level, over its 31-year history, participants and winners of Brandstorm have gone on to have successful careers with L’Oréal Groupe across marketing, product design, communications, media and much more. One of the examples can be L’Oréal’s Chief Metaverse & Web3 Officer, Camille Kroely, who is a Brandstorm Alumni.
Using AR, VR, AI and The Metaverse In Beauty
The theme for this year’s competition is to crack the new codes of beauty within one of these fields. Contestants need to design augmented beauty solutions that connect customers with L’Oréal Groupe across the physical and digital divide. That means harnessing the power of AR, VR, AI, NFTs and the metaverse.
Hosting the French semi-finals of the contest in the metaverse demonstrates L’Oréal Groupe’s commitment to the digital future.
